We are in the process of application for federal 501(c)(3) status. We welcome your donations in the meantime; however they will not yet be tax-deductable. If you would like to be notified when we recieve our non-profit status, please sign up for our online newsletter.
You can support Amnesty in a number of ways. The first is to donate to our general fund. Money from that fund will be used to fill the most urgent needs of Amnesty facilities. For example, often when an animal needs placement there will be a facility willing to take it in, but they will lack the funds to build housing or pay certain veterinary expenses. If there are sufficient funds, we can help pay these expenses and rescue an animal which might otherwise be killed.
You can also make a donation earmarked for a certain facility. You can find a list of our facilities on the menu to your left. Each facility has it's own specific wishlist of items they need and projects they need to raise funds for. In addition to monetary donations, facilities may need building supplies, animal feed, professional services, volunteers, and more.
We are a small, grassroots organization and your donations will be used wisely and for the purpose you intend. We have no paid staff or board members, no rented office space, and very, very minimal administrative costs.
